Welcome to St. Mary's Ethiopian Orthodox ChurchOur Church strives to fulfill the spiritual needs of its members by providing church and related services in a manner consistent with the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church's faith, values, and tradition.
"አሁንስ ተስፋዬ ማን ነው እግዚአብሔር አይደለምን"? መዝ 38÷7.የተከበራችሁ በሎስ አንጀለስና በአካባቢው የምትኖሩ ኦርቶዶክሳውያን በሙሉ አሁን ያለንበት ዘመን ከመቼውም ጊዜ ይልቅ ወደ እግዚኣብሔር የምንቀርብበት ሰዓት መሆኑን በዓለም የተከሰተው ወረርሽኝ በእጅጉ ሚያመለክተን መሆኑ ግልጽ ነው። ስለሆነም የመጣውን ፈተና በድል ለመወጣት በመንፈሳዊ ጥበብ መጓዝ እንድንችል የሚያደርገን የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ስለሆነ በሎስ አንጀለስ ሰዓትዘወትር አርብና ረቡዕ ከምሽቱ 6 p.m. ጀምሮ ለአንድ የሚቆይ ልዩ የትምህርት መርሐ ግብር
ዘወትር እሁድ ከለሊቱ 4፡30 ጀምሮ እንዲሁም ቅዳሜ ከለሊቱ 5፡00 የቤተ ክርሲቲያኑን ሙሉ አገልግሎትበጽርሐ አርያም ቅድስት ማርያም የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የዌብሳይት ድህረ ገጽ በፌስ ቡክ እና በዩቲብ ገጻችን በኩል እንድትከታተሉ መንፈሳዊ ጥሪችንን እናስተላልፋለንለተጨማሪ መረጃ በሶሻል ሚዲያው የመልክት መላላኪያ በኩል ብትጽፉልን ወይንም በስልክ ቁጥራችን 310-338-0021 ብትደውሉልን እንቀበላለንአምላካችን እግዚኣብሔር በዓለማችን ላይ የመጣውን ይህንን መቅሰፍት ከምድራች ላይ እንዲያሶግድልን መልካም ፍቃዱ ይሁንልን ሁላችሁም በያላችሁበት በጸሎት በርቱ እግዚኣብሔር ከሁላችን ጋር ይሁን ወላዲተ አምላክ ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም በምልጃዋ አትለየን የቅዱሳን ጸሎት የቅዱሳን መላእክት ጥበቃ ከክፉ ሁሉ ይጠብቀን

St. Mary’s Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church strives to fulfill the spiritual needs of its members by providing church and related services in a manner consistent with the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church’s faith, values, and tradition.
Such services consist of the following:Establishment and maintenance of services for divine worship and religious observance increasing the understanding of the history, culture, language, tradition, and values of Ethiopia.Provision of other social services such as:
Sunday school and Bible studies for children and adults,
Free religious counseling by the Clergy of the Church
Marriage, burial rites (Fithat), and baptism/christening services
Visiting and comforting the sick, the needy and the bereaved.

Blessings of MembershipA person who believes in Christ and gets baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit becomes a Christian.By virtue of baptism Christians are endowed with the following:To inherit God’s kingdom given to His Children.
To receive mercy from failings and sins.
As his children and heirs to his Kingdom, share in the holy endowment given in his wisdom.When we gather under the spiritual umbrella of the singular, oldest and historical Orthodox Tewahedo Church, we shall benefit from the unlimited blessings endowed to us.In addition to the above mentioned spiritual blessings, St. Mary’s Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church In Los Angeles provides the following spiritual services to its members:Baptism, Wedding, and memorial services.
Counseling by the Clergy.
Lessons in Religion, history, culture, and language are provided to small children and the youth.
Proof of membership and/or supporting documents.
Use of the church facilities for occasions in accordance with the bylaws and policy of the church.
Participation in the administration of the church, including voting and being elected for positions.

የአባልነት በረከትበክርስቶስ በማመን በአብ በወልድ በመንፈስ ቅደስ ስም ከተጠመቀ በኃላ ማንኛውም ሰው ክርስቲያን ይሆናል::ክርስቲያኖች ከጥምቀትም በኃላ የሚከተሉትን በረከት ያገኛል፤እግዚአብሔር በሚሰጠው የልጅነት ጸጋ ወራሽ መሆን፤
የበዯሌን እና የኃጢያትን ሥርየት ይቀበላል፤
በቤቱ ልጅና ወራሽ በመሆን ከእርሱ በሆነ ጸጋ የመንፈሳዊ በረከት ሁለ ተካፋይ ይሆናል፤በመሆኑም ጥንታዊና ታሪካዊ በሆነች በአንዱት የተዋሕድ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የእምነት ጥሊ ሥር በመሆን በአጥቢያችን ከምትገኝ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ጋር ህብረት ሲኖረው የሚያገኘው የማይቋርጥ ጸጋ ነው።ስለዚህ የሎስ አንጀለስ ቅድስት ማርያም የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶድክስ ተዋሕድ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ከላይ ከተገለጸው መንፈሳዊ በረከት በተጨማሪ የሚከተሉትን መንፈሳዊ አገልግሎቶች ትሰጣለች፦ጥምቀት፤ ተክሊሌ እና ጸልተ ፍታት፤

የህጻናትና የወጣቶች ኃይማኖት ታሪክን ባህልና ቋንቋን፤ ማስተማር፤
የአባልነት ማስረጃና የድጋፍ ወረቀት፤
የቤተ ክርስቲያን አዳራሽና ሌሎች ክፍሎች በቤተ ክርስቲያኑ መመሪያና ውስጠ ደንብ መሰረት ጉዳይ ሲኖረዎት መጠቀም፤
በቤተ ክርስቲያኑ አስተዳደር ውስጥ መሳተፍ፤ መመረጥና መምረጥ፤
ሌሎችም የአባልነት በረከቶች አለ፤በዚህ መሠረት የቅድስት ማርያም የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶድክስ ተዋሕድ ቤተ ክርስቲያን አባል በመሆን ይመዘገቡ ዘንዴ በታላቅ መንፈሳዊ አክብሮት እንጠይቃለን።

Youth Programs / የወጣቶች አገልግሎት
St. Mary's Sunday School has always been the main focus of our Church's interest. The Church plays its biggest role by providing Amharic language, religious, historical and cultural - oriented classes thru its (Sunbeth School) programs to young Ethiopians born in the U.S.A. The School is run and administered by volunteer teachers who are active members of the Church. So far there are over 95 registered students and only half of the total number of students are benefiting from this invaluable service by attending classes regularly. We hope to expand and strengthen our programs in the future by enrolling more students and acquiring more facilities. We also urge parents to be actively involved in showing interest in their kids' education as well as forming a partnership with the teachers for mutual growth and development in all areas. Our aim is to build morally, culturally and spiritually strong members of the community. We will post more detailed information about our school in the future. And thanks for visiting our web page.
